Breakout: Promoting Health Equity in Physical Therapist Practice Part 1

In the first of two sessions designed to promote health equity in pediatric practice, attendees will evaluate our professional role and responsibility in this space, differentiate individual, social, and structural determinants of health, and illustrate the ways social and structural factors influence health and development. In the second session, attendees will examine tools and strategies they might employ at the individual/interpersonal, clinic/community, and societal levels to promote the health of children and families, and advance health equity.
