Breakout: Upstander Training

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

An upstander is someone who observes or knows about malicious behavior and takes action to make it right. As healthcare professionals, we want to promote a culture where bystanders become upstanders for ourselves, coworkers, and patients. This presentation will provide attendees the foundation of what it means to be an upstander, why being an upstander is important in your role as a healthcare professional, and how to begin showing up as an upstander. This presentation will be delivered in a lecture and practice and application format, allowing participants to receive real-time feedback and guidance of the skills and techniques acquired during the session.
