This presentation will introduce attendees to the essential job demands of the Tactical Athlete within Law Enforcement and provide practical insight on epidemiology and prevention of injuries across the career for officers. Attendees will be provided with a detailed example of an embedded Physical Therapy Program within the Denver Police Department. Open discussion about culturally competent care that is forward thinking and considers wellness, mental health, resiliency and training protocols for the Tactical Athletes in Law Enforcement.
